This 5-acre lake  contains carp to 30lb, tench to 5lb, bream to 9lb, pike, rudd, roach and perch. A stocking of smaller tench and crucians took place in late 2009, and it is hoped to continue stocking with other species in the near future.

Short incline up to nearest swims from large car park. Disabled blue badge holders may drive a short distance to a car park for their use, avoiding the incline.

Fishery Rules

  1. NO ONE ALLOWED ON THE LAND BEFORE 6 A.M. AND MUST HAVE LEFT  BY SUNSET.
  2. USE PORTALOO DO NOT USE SURROUNDING WOODS AND FIELDS.
  3. CARS MUST BE PARKED IN DESIGNATED AREAS. THE UPPER DISABLED CAR PARK (SEE ABOVE) MAY BE CLOSED AT THE DISCRETION OF THE FISHERY OFFICER, IN PERIODS OF WET WEATHER.
  4. NO KEEPNETS, EXCEPT IN OFFICIAL CLUB MATCHES (AS HANDBOOK).
  5. MAXIMUM OF TWO RODS PER FULL MEMBER.
  6. NO DOGS ALLOWED.
