WATER SHARE WITH BISHOPS STORTFORD & DISTRICT ANGLING SOCIETY (BSDAS)

The Club has agreed with BSDAS for a water share arrangement. 50 BSDAS members will again be able to fish our water at Straits Mill, Braintree (both lakes and river), and 50 of our members will be able to fish their water “Malcolm Barker Lake” and a short backwater stretch of the River Stort.

Full details of these fisheries including directions can be viewed on www.bsdas.org.uk. Only the following classes of members of this Club will be eligible; Ordinary, OAP, Disabled and Intermediate. This will be on a strictly first come first served basis and successful applicants will receive a BSDAS card in May and will be valid from 1st June. The BSDAS card will show the gate padlock combinations for Malcom Barker Lake for the 10 month period together with their club rules and directions relating to the lake and river.
