Billericay & District Angling Club Waters

Here are our waters available to members from 2005. Fuller details including directions, car parking arrangements, fishery by-laws and times of fishing, appear in the Club Handbook you will receive.
At the end of each location, we describe accessibility and terrain, to assist the less mobile members to decide whether the water would be suitable.

RIVER RODING

Stanford Rivers
Key: K

A three-mile stretch down to a mill, ranging from shallow runs,
deep bends and holes, with a generally deeper stretch nearing the mill.
It contains roach to over 2lbs, chub to 6lbs, perch to 3lbs and dace.
In the deeper swims tench and carp have been taken, with the best
carp caught in 2007 being 18lbs, with several more of that size seen.

There are four different access points, one having a concreted car
park very close to the river.
