Here are our waters available to members from 2005. Fuller details including directions, car parking arrangements, fishery by-laws and times of fishing, appear in the Club Handbook you will receive. At the end of each location, we describe accessibility and terrain, to assist the less mobile members to decide whether the water would be suitable. RIVER RODING

Stanford Rivers
A half-mile stretch which is very suitable for the roving angler. It includes several feature swims, including a 3-metre deep pool, unusually deep for the Roding. Chub 4lbs, perch 3lbs, barbel 3lbs. Medium walk across field, then some steep banks


GENERAL NOTES: Roach, Chub, Perch, Dace, Barbel and Gudgeon have been caught. Although the upper stretch of our water has deep water, the river fishes best after rain. In the deeper swims tench and carp have been taken, with the best carp caught in 2007 being 18lbs, with several more of that size seen.

FISHERY RULES: Do not walk across fields at any time of year. There are four different access points, one having a concreted car park very close to the river (See Handbook) Any person fishing on a club fishery must be in possession of the current Environment Agency rod Licence. All RIVERS will be closed from 15th March until 15th June Inclusive
