Willow Mere

The club has acquired this delightful 1.5 acre lake situated two miles from Chelmsford.  It is a general mixed fishery of Roach, Rudd, Tench and a few small carp. There are clearly defined swims and access to the parking from the road leaves members a very short walk in the summer.  In winter, members should take great care in crossing the field as in wet conditions the track can be slippery.  Drive slowly and park on the track parallel with the hedge on the far side of the field.

Once on the fishery members must keep to the bank side not wander round the surrounding land at the request of the owner.  Members should only fish from constructed swims as some banks are quite steep.

Directions:-  These are available in the November Newsletter

Fishery Rules

  1. Members are allowed on the water from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  2. No dogs allowed
  3. Only one rod allowed.
