On Sunday 21st March 2010 at 10am the brentwood half marathon takes place and the route is very near these lakes. Last year 2250 entered so there may be access problems to these lakes between roughly 8am and 1pm on this day and members might like to time their entry and exit to the lakes on this day to avoid the race.

Barleylands

The gate number at Barleylands has been changed (30/1/10), members can find out the new number, only if they intend to gain access or leave out of hours, by phoning the Helpline with their membership card no. for identiication If you know Keith Collard personally, you can phone him for the number.

The Club has raised £1682 from its Charity Matches this year, and these funds are being sent to seven local charities in time for Christmas.
