2009 Autumn Carp Match

This year’s match saw only 12 contestants turn up to fish the 24 hour carp match at Barleylands. we were greeted with a gale though at least it wasn't too cold.

The winner this year was Nick Curtis who had 2 fish for a total weight of 22lb. Apart from a number of Bream no other fish were caught. Although the wind dropped after midnight it didn't improve the fishing, neither did the sunny mild morning.

The next match will be in the spring of 2010 and will be announced in the club newsletter.
