Chairman’s Carp Cup 2010

 

Despite a forecast of rain all of Saturday afternoon, all we received was 5 minutes of drizzle and a small shower during the night. The afternoon was very slow with only one carp caught but the fishing improved from late afternoon through to the Sunday morning.  A total of 19 fish were caught between the 18 anglers, the honours and 5 days at Etang Des Landes went to Barry Cove with 4 fish for a total weight of 41lb, 2^nd was James Railton with two fish for34lb and third Graham Tredget with two fish for 27lb 10 oz. The best was was 21lb caught by Dave Faulkner.

The autumn carp match will be held at Barleylands on the 9/10 October and entry forms are available from Colin Short.
